And on the fitness level (also very important) eat healthy and reduce beer intake (if applicable). Ha
But like everyone else has said, I think riding is the best training. Its all about being comfortable on your bike. Knowing what it can and cant do. Once you know that, you are in control.
I also can 100% agree with the riding with someone else thing too. It's helped me progress and get where I am today. Having a good riding buddy is pretty key. =]

Let me know how much boost you can run when you lower the compression to 9:1

Know your trail, every root, jutting rock, and pin it area. Me and Rox used to session westridge, and CCCX. I have a vested interest in her winning.
