Some of the Pacifica Freeride crew will be heading over to Carlmont this Saturday @10am to pick up trash and haul out some larger items (ie, the couch).
If you'd like to help, please show up! We'll meet at the Village Drive gate. For directions, check the link below.
Google map to Village Drive.
PFR will supply the garbage bags. You bring gloves and hydration materials.
We'll load up a truck and take the garbage to Passion Trails. Thanks to Patty for donating the use of the PT dumpster.
If the weather is good, we plan to ride afterwards. I'll have my camera to take some photos.
Thanks!
Damon

I will try and get out there at 10 if I can break away from the kids for an hour or two to help. I have picked up a couple of bags full of crap the past few weeks. There was a bunch where the groms hang out by Meth and G line under the tree. My buddy Mike also picked up quite a bit of trash as well. There is still the couch and some random wood at the bottom. There is also still a fair amount crap tucked away in the bushes.

Are there any garbage cans out there? I am guessing not. Maybe once a few of us are there we can pool together a few bucks for a decent garbage can and a roll of bags to leave with it. Will it stay put or will we need to lock it do you think?

I'll buy the garbage can, chain, and lock, if people think it's a reasonable idea. Seems to work at Boy Scout.
We can leave a bunch of garbage bags at bottom of can.

OK, cool. I'll chip in and I'm sure others will do the same. That's a bit of an investment.

I bought a garbage can, a lid, a chain, and a combo lock. And some trash bags.

I have several pairs of leather work gloves I could loan out.
