YUBA is a certified Santa Cruz Bicycles dealer, in fact it’s the only brand of bike we carry. We’ve been riding and wrenching on Santa Cruz bikes since the companies conception in 1994. So when you buy a bike from YUBA, you’re buying a bike that is professionally assembled by mechanics that understand the importantance of having your equipment dialed. Our mechanics are responsible for assembling the Santa Cruz “Hell-Ride” bikes for the riders. And, not to toot our own horn, but the fact that Santa Cruz puts that kind of trust in us, proves just how good we are at building these bikes to be Downieville Tough.

Purchasing a Santa Cruz bike from YUBA means you also get YUBAtek Tuned Suspension. This involves taking the time to adjust the suspension sag, and fine tune the rebound and compression damping, even if it requires a different weight fluid and/or shim stack adjustment. YUBAtek Tuned Suspension makes the riding experience more comfortable and safer at higher speeds. What better way to make an educated decision on buying a new bike, than going for a test ride in Downieville. The YUBA bike shop and the town of Downieville provide a professional and relaxed setting that will make your next bike purchase memorable. Tune in and Ride Before You Buy!

Mike’s Bikes Setting Up Shop at the SF Bicycle Expo
Wednesday, November 5, 2008 @ 7:30 am
Posted by Anthony

The SF Bicycle Expo welcomes “the largest independent bike dealer on the West Coast.”  These guys are bicycle enthusiasts that know their stuff.

We don’t sell snowboards, we don’t sell kayaks and we don’t sell tents. We only sell bikes - you might even say bikes are our life. Why does that matter? Because this utter fanaticism for our product makes us the best at what we do - We live to create cyclists.”

Check out their website and stop by their booth.
